Jeff Gayle Jeff Gayle has been a member of Wycliffe since 1996. Prior that he worked as a software developer for Bentley Systems on an awesome CAD program called MicroStation. He is a Mechanical engineer by education but quickly gravitated to problem solving and analysis with computer systems. He grew up working in a family business making machine parts where he learned to get his hands dirty, work hard and appreciate opportunities to think outside the box. Now serving with Wycliffe, he applies himself as Manager IT Systems Architect at JAARS where he is working to refine the process of designing, developing and delivering strategic systems to support the Bible translation effort around the world. He also served as a software developer and project manager at the SIL center in Dallas, TX before moving his family to the Waxhaw, NC area. Jeff and his wife Sue are raising two children, Jonathan and Sarah, which takes up most of their time outside of work. But in their spare time they managed to help start and direct a small Christian School, and go camping from time to time. Personally, Jeff enjoys photography and going on dates with his wife. |
