Dan Pinkham Dan was born in Alaska, the son of missionary parents who served there for 12 years. He graduated a year early from high school and completed the Concentrated Bible Course at Lancaster Bible College. He then attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University earning an A.S. in Aeronautical Engineering and a B.S. in Aircraft Engineering in three years. He is thesis shy of a Masters degree in Bible with a minor in Cross Cultural communications at Columbia Biblical University. He has two sons in college, one of which was born in Kenya. After gaining experience working in the aviation industry Dan served in Nairobi, Kenya as the Director of Aircraft Maintenance. While there he was also involved in Asian evangelism and discipleship, leading prayer meetings, conducting Bible studies with Kenyans and preaching in a Kenyan deaf service. After having 1/5th of his lung removed Dan switched from aviation and joined the IT Training department. He is currently the Director of Training and Software Services at JAARS. Dan enjoys reworking antique former military trucks so he can drive over 55 gallon drums without touching them. He likes to grunt when he drives Big Blue. If you ask him about Big Blue you will be sorry. You will offend him if you call Big Blue a nice Jeep. |
