Dave Smith

Dave and his wife Rosalee joined Wycliffe in 1991 with Dave as Computer Support and Rosalee as a Teacher. They served in Papua New Guinea and in Guatemala before being assigned to the head office in Huntington Beach, California. During this time Dave developed a computer donation program to help supply fields and national workers with good useable computers.

Dave worked for a short time in IT support in Orlando office and then went to the Wycliffe Northwest Regional office where he served as the IT Department Manager, then IT Support and IT Mobilizer. Rosalee served as the Prayer Ministries Coordinator. Dave now serves as an IT Recruiter for Wycliffe USA.

One of the best technologies that has come out in the past few years besides the increase in computer speed for nominal prices is the availability of wireless connections. This has allowed unheard of freedom and ease in the ability for folks to work remotely.
